Hi, I'm Kennedy! I'm a current photography student interested specifically in digital photography. I most enjoy taking photos of different scenics and photos of nature settings. Although my biggest interest is in taking photos of nature, I often subconsciously lean towards a more commercial side of photography. I often take items and put them in a blank setting to make them stand out more, almost as if it is an advertisement for that item. I do this because I like to make the item in the photo the focal point, and I personally think the best way to do that is by having a blank background to make it pop out. One of the problems I run into most while shooting is the lighting that I am provided. When doing my photos that involve a white background, I often use pieces of printer paper on my desk in my bedroom. However, my room is a very dark environment, which makes finding the best lighting for the photo very difficult. I often use multiple desk lamps from around my house to make it so there are no distracting shadows, while also ensuring that there are no distracting shadows. Photography has been my favorite form of art for a long time, it just took me a long time to realize. I spent a lot of time taking photos on my phone, and just thinking that it was normal, but as soon as I realized that it was something I enjoyed doing and wasn't just for the pictures, I realized I wanted to pursue photography. I have never been a very artistic person because I am very shakey, which made drawing and painting difficult, so when I started practicing photography and saw that my shakiness didn't affect it, I realized I had finally found my creative outlet.
